On 3-29 the Bucks County Democratic Committee held an “Endorsement Meeting” via Zoom. Listed below are the results of that meeting’s endorsements. The names listed will appear on your local “goldenrod” sample ballot for this May’s primary election.
- A motion was made and passed to uphold the endorsements made by the PA Democratic State Committee for Josh Shapiro for Governor and Austin Davis for Lieutenant Governor.
- A motion was made and passed to endorse the State House and State Senate candidates in their respective districts, if they had not yet held their own endorsement meeting prior to.
- A motion was made and passed to uphold the non-endorsement made by the PA Democratic State Committee for the U.S. Senate race. This will remain an open primary. Municipal organizations may not hold an endorsement vote for the U.S. Senate race.
- A motion was made and passed to endorse all of the incumbent State Committee members running for re-election. This includes the following individuals: Ijaz Chaudhry, John (Bud) Johnson, Bradley Kirsch, Roberta Laney, Kathy Macaulay, Anna Payne, Paul Roden and Kimberly Yeager-Rose.
