As you already know, we have a number of statewide judicial races this election cycle. Members of the state committee have been meeting via Zoom and voting remotely on statewide endorsements.
Traditionally, our County Party has voted to accept the state endorsements. That would occur during our own endorsement meeting coming in about one week. Where no endorsement at the statewide level exists, we are free to endorse whomever we choose.
Please take note of the dates in the below Election Calendar link. Our window for petitions is relatively brief and the state party has adopted a cover-safe protocol for conducting petition drives.
A healthy plant begins at the roots. Through the past few election cycles, many of our county Parties have used the Vote Local PA program to help with voter outreach to push and promote their Democratic slate of candidates- from the top-of-the-ticket down to the local level.
With statewide judicial seats and municipal offices on the ballot (along with potential ballot amendments) this year – now is the time to work together to build out smarter more efficient voter outreach programs so we can win more Democratic seats up and down the ballot.
